Embracing Marian Devotion in Daily Life

Glory be to God and honor to Mother Mary! My son’s journey to law school has been filled with obstacles, but through the power of prayer, God has shown us His mercy.

Earlier this year, my son took the entrance exams to the law school at Legon, but he was not successful. Undeterred, he wrote another entrance exam at Central University a month ago. However, when the interview list was released, he wasn’t invited, even though we were reliably informed that he was 5th on the list. His friend, who had attended the interview, inquired about my son’s absence and was told by the Secretary that she had called my son, but he supposedly told her he had traveled—which was entirely untrue.

Feeling disheartened, I committed the situation to Mother Mary through the rosary devotions. With faith, I trusted in her intercession, and God raised a destiny helper who ensured that my son was finally invited for the interview on Wednesday, October 9.

To the glory of God, just two days later on Friday, October 11, my son received his admission letter! However, we were faced with another challenge—the admission fee of 6,402 cedis had to be paid immediately, or he risked losing the spot. Miraculously, my sister in the US sent the money, and we were able to pay the fee on the same day.

I am filled with gratitude to God and our Mother Mary. I believe wholeheartedly that God will continue to guide my son and make him a great lawyer for His glory. Amen!
